Prices and Payment


Q. Which Credit Cards do you accept?

A. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Maestro/Solo and Delta. We do not accept Barclaycard and American Express.
Please note that when you place your order no money is taken from your card. Instead, your money is initially reserved from your account details until such time your order is dispatched and invoiced. At no time do we take any funds from you until we dispatch the goods. The reservation is there to insure that there will be funds available to pay for your goods once we dispatch them. There is an expiry time on the reservation which is typically 6-8 days after you place your order for Credit Cards (dependant upon issuer) or 1 day for Debit cards.

Q. Do NICEIC store my credit card details?

A. NICEIC does not store any of your credit card details at any point. When you pay by credit card you will be directed to Secpay's webpage at the end of the checkout process. They will store your card details until such time as we dispatch your goods. Once dispatched we will request them to take payment on our behalf.

Q. If I'm paying by cheque where do I send it to?

A. Please make your cheque payable to NICEIC and put on the reverse your company name and post code and the order reference from your order receipt confirmation.

Q. If I'm paying by BACS where do I remit my payment?

A. Please direct your BACS payment to our bank, details as follows:

Please note: we will be unable to dispatch your order until after we have received cleared funds into our bank account. This is typically 5 working days after we are in receipt of your cheque. We will bank your cheque on the day of receipt. Failure to provide a copy of your order confirmation will result in a delay in dispatch of your order.

Q. Do prices include VAT?

A. All prices quoted on the website are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added to your order at the rate ruling on date of dispatch. Deliveries to Channel Islands are exempt from VAT.

Deliveries


Q. What delivery services do you offer and how much do they cost?

A. The primary courier that we use is DHL. They deliver between 8:30am and 6pm during the week. We are not able to provide weekend delivery. For very small orders we reserve the right to send some or all of your order to you via Royal Mail.

For mainland UK and Northern Ireland, the two types of shipping available are;

* Standard Shipping (ususally delivered between 5-7working days) which costs £5.96 + VAT
* Express Delivery (guaranteed next day delivery for all orders received before 1.30pm in the afternoon) which costs £17.02 + VAT


We also offer a delivery service to Republic of Ireland, Highlands and Islands and the Channel Islands with costs as follows;

* Highlands and Islands (5-7 working days) which costs £5.96 + VAT: Postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, TR21-25
* Northern Ireland (5-7 working days) which costs £5.96 + VAT: Postcodes BT
*  Isle of Man (48hr Service) which costs £15.00: Postcode IM
*  Channel Islands (48hr Service) which costs £15.00 NO VAT: Postcodes GY & JE
*  Republic of Ireland (48hr Service) which costs £15.00


Orders containing eCert numbers are free of carriage. Combined orders of eCerts plus other goods will attract a delivery charge on the other goods.

Please note: the above charges apply irrespective of size or value of your order. You will only be charged once irrespective of the number of parcels or deliveries we make to fulfill your order.

Q. Are all items in stock?

A. We endeavour to ship all orders out from our large stocks. Under exceptional circumstances we may be out of stock of an item. In this event we will hold your order until such time as we are able to secure more stock and your order will be sent our as soon as possible.

Please note: you will only be charged one carriage charge, on the first dispatch.

Returns


Q. In general, what is the 'Returns Policy'?

A. If you receive goods which you did not order or the goods arrive in a faulty condition, please contact our Sales Department. They will arrange for the incorrect or damaged goods to be collected either by asking DHL to collect or by sending you a free address to be used to send the goods back. Generally once goods have been returned, you will either have a replacement order sent out to deliver the correct goods or if you wish, a full refund for the goods returned.

If however you want to return goods that were ordered in error or you simply do not want them, you must contact us before sending them back to get our approval. We are only able to accept returns of goods within 28days of receipt and that have been agreed in writing beforehand. You must return the goods at your own cost, we advise via recorded delivery. Once received we will review the condition of the goods returned and assuming that they are in a saleable condition we will accept the return. Any goods that are returned without prior written approval, or arrive in a damaged condition will be refused.

Q. Can I still order from you if I am not enrolled / registered with NICEIC?

A. Yes. There are many items we sell that are free for all to purchase e.g. books and DVDs. Some items we sell are restricted and are only available to customer who are enrolled or registered with NICEIC.

Q. Is your website secure?

A. Yes. The site is secure and has a valid SSL certificate. This can be seen by the small padlock symbol in your browser. You can check the validity of our certificate by clicking on the padlock.

Q. Do I have to order online?
